GrandDaddy Jack's wife Amy was transported from Offerman all the way to Homerville where she died of a "stomach tumor" which quite possibly could have been anything from an ovarian cyst, to an intestinal blockage. GrandDaddy was one of the founding members of the Hospital Board as well as a founding member of Peoples' Bank. Certainly he and the other founding members, Pierce County's Founding Fathers, would be appreciative of the recent improvements and quality of care.
